Book Fair 2008
Tall Tales and Legends
The Book Fair Event is the oldest continuing tradition at Potomac School. From March 3-14, 2008 the entire Potomac community celebrates the joy of reading. Students and families contribute books by the thousands that are sold during the second week of the Fair at modest cost. This year, our theme is “Tall Tales and Legends” as we celebrate the art of storytelling itself.
Volunteer:
We need your help. Please click on the Volunteer Opportunities link on the left to sign up online.
Book Drive :
Please drop off your used book donations on March 3, 4 and 5 at the bus circle, the flag pole circle or the kindergarten circle. Families may drive onto campus these three mornings to deliver Book Fair donations. Volunteers will be on hand to help unload your books. Please count your books before dropping them off and include the tally sheet with your donation, so each child's donation can be credited to his or her division's book drive goal. Many thanks for your donations in support of Potomac's libraries!
Cultural Night
Be a part of the international cultural displays, music, performances, and foods representing the many cultures that comprise our Potomac School community. We welcome back all of last year's participants and extend a special invitation to all newcomers to participate in this great event. Please submit a participation form [link] to Tiffany Bridgewater or Lori Sheerin by 3 p.m. on Friday, February 29.
